Sandra day O’Connor
Sandra Day O’Connor is an American jurist and the first woman to be appointed to the United States Supreme Court. Born in 1930, she was appointed to the court by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, where she served until her retirement in 2006. At the age of 90, Sandra is still active in the legal field and currently serves on the board of the Eisenhower Fellowships. She is married to John O’Connor and has three children. Currently, Sandra resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she enjoys travelling and speaking at various events.
