Buzz Aldrin

Buzz Aldrin is an American astronaut, engineer, and author who was one of the first two human beings to walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. Born in 1930, Buzz is also a retired United States Air Force officer and has received numerous awards for his contribution to the space program. At the age of 90, Buzz is still active in the space industry and recently published a children’s book called “Welcome to Mars: Making a Home on the Red Planet”. He is married to Lois Driggs Cannon and has three children. Currently, Buzz resides in California where he enjoys spending time with his family and supporting various space exploration initiatives.
