Alan Alda
Alan Alda is an American actor and director. He is best known for his role as Captain Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce in the TV series “MASH.” He has also appeared in numerous films and television shows over the course of his career. In recent years, Alda has focused on science communication and public outreach, hosting and narrating the PBS series “Scientific American Frontiers” and founding the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University. He continues to act and direct, with recent appearances in projects such as “The Good Fight” and “Marriage Story.”
