Yoko Ono
Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer-songwriter and peace activist. Born in 1933, she is best known for her influential collaborations with her late husband, John Lennon, both musically and in the political arena. Yoko’s career spans over five decades, during which time she has released numerous acclaimed albums and written several books. At the age of 87, she is still active in the industry and has most recently been working on the Imagine Peace Tower in Reykjavik, Iceland. In addition to her creative endeavors, Yoko is married to composer, Anthony Cox, and has two sons from her previous marriage to Lennon. She currently lives in New York City where she continues to pursue her passion for art, music, and philanthropy.
