The 1969 Yenko Chevelle was developed by Pittsburgh Chevy dealer and retired Corvair and Corvette race car driver Don Yenko. He developed signature Yenko Chevelles, Camaros, and Novas. His Chevelle featured a supersport blackout grille, a super sport hood, a 12 bolt differential, a L72 425 horsepower 427 engine with an automatic or manual transmission option, and bench seats. 99 of these Chevelles were built with 55 of them having a four-speed manual transmission.
