Lindsay Lohan almost had a part in this movie as Jack’s “best girl” Cora, but the director thought her red hair would be too similar to Rose and Ruth. This movie also holds an odd record. When it was released movies would stick around in theatres for around 3 months, but this one was still out in theatres as it was released on VHS nearly 9 months after it’s original release in theatres.
