The main character’s role was originally written for Tom Hanks, but since it took soo long to write the script. Tom hanks was almost 40 and wanted to direct “Crowe”. Cuba Gooding Jr. did all of his own stunts in this movie. His dad also got kicked off the set for reportedly hugging Tom Cruise than asking him something in appropriate.
