The Vest is Sacred – The famous Hells Angels vest is treated with reverence. Only full members of the Hells Angels can wear one, and they go to great lengths to protect them. If a Hells Angel is arrested, he’ll hand his vest to another member before the police take him away. If he realizes he’s about to crash, he’ll try to ensure the vest isn’t damaged in any way.
