Hunter Thompson is a legend. The way he describes riding motorcycles can make you salivate. Personally, he owned a BSA Lightning and a Ducati 900 Super Sport. It is one fine engineered motorcycle featuring incredible racing lines. Just looking at it standing still you would think it is doing 60mph! And, for torque, Hunter loved the Ducatis response. Take the RPMs from 4000 to 6000 on his vintage in third gear and you find yourself moving from 75 mph to 95 mph in two seconds. And you still have three more gears! No wonder Hunter loved this bike.
