19. Marlon Brando
Who can forget Marlon Brando in The Wild One on a 650 cc 1950 Triumph 6T Thunderbird? It is easy to understand how a young Brando, clad in leather, became the iconic representation of sexually charged youthful rebellion. Marlin admits to riding during the early morning hours through New York City. He would go out between 1AM-3 AM wearing his signature t-shirt and blue jeans to pick up girls and go cruising around the city. Brando says there was not much crime in New York City then so you could pull it off. He also says when he began to feel oppressed with the fame he would simply hop on a motorcycle and head west, riding for miles and miles through the desert.
