Ever the visionaries, BMW also has a Mini Vision Next 100 program. This designs envisions a future where ride sharing is the order of the day. New riders are met by custom lighting when they take the Mini for a ride. One of the many ways they will optimize the passenger experience is to let the steering wheel slide to the center of the dashboard whenever operating in autonomous mode.
