#9 – 1975 Laverda 750GT

The birth of Laverda as a serious big bike brand occurred with the introduction of 750 cc, which halted the sales of the recently introduced 650. In 1969 the “750 S” and the “750 GT” were born and were both equipped with an engine that would truly start the fame of the brand. Just like their agricultural machinery, Laverdas were built to be virtually indestructible. I wish they’d remake this one and let me think of classic muscle cars to bring back too while I’m at it.

Quick Fact: The 750 was very much identical to the 650 except for the lower compression rate and the rejecting of the carburetors.
